It's that time of year when plans get made and some things have to change. So in that interim period between Christmas and New year when the fridge was still groaning but the family had left I made some decisions about the writing workshops, as well as about my writing life. Unfortunately getting the plans in place for the workshops has meant that I haven't yet got in the flow for my writing life but that will come. One of my new year resolutions is to be kind and forgiving to myself and be willing to say that if I don't make it today then there is tomorrow. It is ok to keep starting again.
So with regard to the venue for the Write Your Life Story workshops I have changed it from the lovely place in Pensarn to Roots Café in Abergele. The proprietors of Gwesty Glyndwr have been kind and generous to me, always welcoming, always helpful. To say thank you I have sent them some flowers. But I just felt that I needed to be working nearer to home. Roots café is less than 5 mins walk from my house. This feels right.
It will still be at the same time, 11-12.30, still on 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month, still £5 per person per session, still run with my inimitable style. Just a new place for a new year.
Thursday group will carry on as normal though I have a 24 week program of ideas that I will be foisting on my lovely participants. I will expand more on that in this blog in time.
